The Club complete with it's new very red Gazebo attended the annual craft fair at Godolphin House, recently part of the National Trusts Cornish properties. As usual the club displayed a variety of woodturning items of a very high standard.
Club Background information
Poldark Woodturners hold a monthly competition and the winner of the last competition decides the dubject of the next.
Club meetings start at 7.30pm on the first and third Thursday of each month. It is an ideal time to exchange ideas, pick-up tips, assist others with problems and explore new ideas and techniques.
The evenings activities usually include a demonstration or two, some lively discussion, the resolve of any club business and a friendly chat over a cup of tea or coffee.
The Club is made up of Members with a mix of abilities from all ages which includes those new to the craft as well as some more seasoned Master Craftsmen.
We are a friendly bunch welcoming new members. If you are not sure about whether Poldark is the right club for you, you can just come along and judge us for yourself any club evening. Your first evening with us is free.
